All students from Prep to Year 6, engage with our dedicated STEM program.
What is STEM?
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The STEM program encourages students to look at all things as learners, the students have the opportunity to build their skills as collaborators, researchers, thinkers, self-managers and communicators in an environment that supports inquiry learning.
STEM lessons include investigations, incursions/excursions, group discussions and theory based learning.
STEM is integral to the following learning areas:
Students use scientific methods to gather and analyse information. They then form opinions and reach conclusions about their investigations. Hands-on experiences develop curiosity which encourages students to think like scientists. Topics such as robotics, coding, green screening just to name a few, stimulate their curiosity and interest in all things STEM.
We provide innovative teaching tools relevant to the world of science today, developing high-quality learning that taps into new ideas in STEM which is our passion!
