Founded by the Sisters of Mercy, guided by their service and values of respect, compassion and justice, Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Parish Primary School aims to create a supportive and inclusive environment where all students are encouraged to explore their potential and achieve their personal best. Students are challenged and engaged through authentic learning opportunities that inspire creativity, confidence and resilience in order to become independent life-long learners.
Our Lady Help of Christians offers a broad curriculum and a range of opportunities for all our students to achieve success. We value collaborative learning, positive relationships and building capacity amongst our students in order for them to effectively engage in the world around them.
Our school has had a highly successful approach over successive years ensuring our Year 3 and 5 children successfully complete their NAPLAN assessments well. Our school currently performs above the state and national average across every curriculum area assessed by NAPLAN.
We support the wellbeing of our students and provide an environment that allows every student to thrive as they work towards achieving their personal best. We encourage our students to develop respectful relationships with their peers, teachers and the broader community.
We work hard to develop and sustain productive partnerships and connections with families and seek continual opportunities to grow and learn.
I welcome you to our school and look forward to meeting you in person.
Ms Maree McIntosh
