EMPOWERING EVERY LEARNER WITH PASSION AND PURPOSE
Prep Learning
Building Strong Foundations in Learning

At Our Lady Help of Christians School, our Prep program focuses on developing essential foundational skills, sparking curiosity and nurturing early friendships through engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

A strong emphasis on early literacy (structured synthetic phonics based program), numeracy and problem solving provides the building blocks for lifelong learning and success.

Through inquiry-based learning, students are encouraged to explore, question and discover - developing a sense of wonder and a deep connection to the world around them.

Social and Emotional Learning is embedded throughout each day, supporting students to understand and manage their emotions, build positive relationships, grow in confidence, empathy and resilience within a caring school community.

Our Religious Education program helps children understand the example of Jesus through compassion, inclusion and service to others. Students begin to recognise their ability to make a difference, learning about fairness, justice and caring for those in need.

I really like all of my friends at Our Lady Help of Christians School and how we get to sprint around the oval on Sports Day!
