The English Program aims to give the children the ability to listen to, read, view, speak, write, create and reflect with confidence, accuracy, fluency and purpose in a wide range of contexts.

Our Literacy program consists of:

• Daily 2 hour Literacy block incorporating reading and writing
• Literacy Intervention - Prep to Year 6
• Formative and Summative assessments throughout the year to determine student individual learning needs
• Ongoing monitoring of all students
• Literacy Leader who meets fortnightly with teachers, monitors programs and co-ordinates professional development for teachers
