• All children from Years Prep to 6 receive a weekly lesson
• Students are immersed in the Italian atmosphere
• Program aims:
  • to expose students to both spoken and written language using songs, music, poems, stories and games, which are taught in a theme-based unit.
  • to develop students’ understanding and appreciation of Italian culture through history, customs and traditions

An exciting 'Italian Day' is held each year to celebrate the program and raise its profile in the minds of the students and community. This includes guest presenters that catch the students' imagination, Italian games and a variety of art activities and competitions. Students also have the opportunity to partake in some special culinary treats such as pizza and gelati.
